It is mathematically much harder to build Tricaru for early players if they try to slam Det runes (especially more than 1 set per dog). Guard runes are by far the easiest method to get the stats. There is an argument for using 1 Det set per dog as slot1 doesn’t have any real reqs, so you only need 1 more per dog.

It's good but the ceiling for tricaru runes are so spicy I'm not sure. For reference you can have ATK or CD as a main stat alongside 9x fight runes. Not sure if anyone can do it though Reply More posts you may like.

There's a plan you can follow to cheese tricaru if you only goal is to get the team running for db12 and db12 alone.My Tricaru does like 40 second runs and I could spend the time farming fight runes to improve that for sure, however if I just spam DB12 at that 40 second run pace I run out of crystals. Tricaru is an important monster, but wasting your crystals on a rune that will probably not roll how you want it to is not a solid strategy. Just farm DB12 for now and get a ton of Guard runes. Farming for one determination set per Tricaru is also a solid strategy.I only farmer Necro for better Rage runes. I don't even equip the best rage runes on Verd. My first run was 1:20 minute. Then when I fully skilled up Tricaru (Using other Tricaru not Devilmon). And choose better Artifacts like Skill 1 Accuracy, Dmg when attacking together. My runs became better.
