In Project Zomboid, the two best places to build a base in Rosewood are the gated community and the fire station. In Riverside, the ideal base locations are the farm with two houses and sheds to the northwest and the junkyard. Since there are many (even interactive) maps of the PZ game world online, the location of the base is not exactly a secret anymore. The base itself is located close to the the south-west edge of the map, deep in the wilderness, very far from everything.
