I have an XL slide on the newest Icarus polymer frame, and I have a few X slides on an Icarus subcompact aluminum frame, and a regular macro frame I cut down to match the shorter length X slide. Now everybody can just grab a Wilson combat macro short frame.I have thousands of rounds on the OEM macro slide and a XXL ported slide (4.1"). The after ported slide hands down runs better. Recoil is a lot softer on the ported slide vs the macro comped slide. Ported you get better recoil reduction performance and a longer barrel. Only con with doing the porting is the wait time.

The big selling points on the Xmacro for me are the grip size, capacity, reduced recoil and familiarity. It definitely shoots like a bigger heavier gun. I don't get any wrist fatigue after 200-300 rounds at the range like I did with my regular p365. The grip size is a really nice balance of capacity and usability.Think G43X size with G17 capacity.
