Hi there! I know this is an old thread but I have a 2008 ford escape and you are the FIRST person I have seen that mentions the horn!!! My car doesn't have any after market things but occasionally I'll go to lock my car and it will honk again (sometimes 4 times in rapid succession) then the next time I get in my car (even using the key to unlock it) the alarm will go off. Last night at around 1am I noticed after I took the keys out the car, when I put it in they wouldn’t turn over. I got out the car because I didn’t think it was an issue.
