Nov 25, 2015 · I've got 3 different 7mm-08's . the tikka I use IMR 4064 with a 139 hornady BTSP . when I get some of the IMR 4064 used , I'm going to give RL17 a try . in the remington RL17 with a 140 berger hunting VLD . the X-bolt I use a slightly reduced load of H4895 with a 120 ballistic tip . these are all accurate loads . Hence my powder usage is slightly higher than standard 7mm-08 when loaded for accuracy, not max loads. (aka my most accurate loads are very near max 7mm-08 loads. Varget did ok for me.
