Hello, I recently purchased a G43. I added the Taran Tactical +2 mag extension, I had a failure to feed the last round when using Federal HST 147 grain hollow points P9HST2. I thought the issue might be the mag extensions, so I purchased 2 new magazines and headed to the range again. Today I watched a video on You Tube where and individual claimed they can cause the frame to crack due to the weight and lack of flexibility to move with the gun. When the trigger bar is not reassembled within that trigger spring "hook", the trigger bar can become "cockeyed" and cause binding of the slide-stop. This seems to be more of a Glock 9mm "slim-line" issue (G43, G43X, G48). (former) Glock & 1911 Armorer; usually carrying a Glock, but sometimes, instead, some other brand.Glock fixed that w/ a newer, softer connector, and the overly stiff trigger problem on the 42/43 pistols pretty much went away. On top of that, Glocks are, as you know, "Bin" pistols, as in all parts are snap together w/ no hand fitting there-of, and on occasion, you get a Glock out of the box w/ a really cruddy trigger.
