2015 Sierra 1500 5.3 Cooling fans not running/fan relay. Hi, I am having some issues with my cooling fans. I have a 2015 Sierra 1500, 5.3 WT. I cannot get the cooling fans to turn on. The truck will overheat before they kick on. I tried to force them on through hp tuners scanner and nothing. Anyway, other's have reported replacing the thermostat has solved the problem, I would look at the wiring and connector to the coolant sensor first. 2004 Sierra 3500 dually, 6.0L extended cab, cab&chassis flatbed, upgraded to 4wd. 2012 Silverado 3500 dually, 6.0l, crew cab, long box replaced w flatbed.
