Everything works fine and you can tell the charging system is working so I hit reset, wait about 5 min and it comes back on again this time with a ringer. I keep hitting reset as it kept popping up.

Aug 13, 2012 · Check all your fuses if you had a system failure it could have blown a fuse. I am not sure on your vehicle where the fuse is in the car or under the hood it could also have a relay. You can check your alternator by checking the voltage at the back of the alternator where the big wire bolts on. You should have 14+ volts at the alternator. Also, for a few minutes, the "Low Battery" light came on. Battery voltage reported anywhere from 11.2 when the car was first started to 14.4 while driving down the highway.

A couple of thoughts on this. If you screw up something with the wheel speed sensors you cause all 3 functions of the ABS system to fail. So if you don't see 3 service messages the problem isn't caused by a wheel speed sensor. The recall with the comb prevented fretting of the contacts in the steering sensor connector.Check all your fuses if you had a system failure it could have blown a fuse.
