Beach Palace was pure chaos. Kids running around and screaming everywhere, very warm indoor common areas, REALLY crowded elevators, etc. In comparison, the Sun Palace felt very organized, relaxing, and sophisticated. During my stay, I didn't get any timeshare pitch, nor have I felt pressure to attend one.
