We pull a M416 trailer with this Jeep.In addition; a typical four cylinder engine likes 28 degrees total advance (initial timing + distributor advance). The original distributor used in the Willys L 134 has 11 degrees total advance in it (@ 1500 RPM). So; 5 degrees + 11 degrees is only 1 degrees. Far, for less then a typical engine. I have the KW brake master dual port upgrade, that is what the one bracket is. Anyway the service manual shows only one pedal shaft washer, I have more than a few. (Top row is .104-.120, middle .028 and bottom .015) cj2a, Output seals can be changed with transfercase still in jeep. 1) remove drive shaft. 2) remove cotter pin and nuts form yoke. 3) pull off yoke. 3.5) opps forgot, remove parking brake drum. 4) use a seal puller and remove old seal. (looks like a T with hooks) 5) inspect seal surface on yoke. seal surface should be smooth where the seal ...An M-38 drivers seat frame is different than a CJ3A, the front right mounting foot is completely different from a CJ3A. So keep in mind if you find standard CJ3A seat frames the fronts will bolt into the same holes as the 2A frame. Not so with the M-38 frame. I have seen a Koehing rear setup, it had a yoke on the back of the model 18 PTO control and a 3/4" round shaft back to the winch with another u joint, simple and easy to make. Lee.

Pretty sure it also requires pre-loading the diapghram. Both procedures are covered in the M38 TM. As is troubleshooting and measuring the pump for proper pressure and volume. I assume you have the TM.
