So im the new owner of a 750 spirit and im getting 47 to 50 mpg but ive always been a fuel mileage junky anyone eles out here like to push the envelope on there mpgs looking for any tested pointers towards climbing the mpg ladder im thinking with the right work i might be able to push it towards...
I have an '86 Shadow VT1100C When I got it already had aftermarket pipes on it (not sure of the make). On take off it was terrible, had to feather the throttle to coax it to go. There are 3 filter used, 1 on petcock, 2 inline, 3 carb fuel inlet. Some bikes only have 1 or 2. 5 Check wiring between Stator and Rectifier for signs of overheating. Oct 9, 2023 · My '96 1100 ACE gives what I consider pretty poor fuel economy, but my riding is mainly urban, with about 1/2 my riding time spent sitting at traffic control devices. I don't expect better than around 35 mpg, but I haven't calculated an accurate rate because it doesn't get ridden much.
