Eldritch Greataxe is definitely an upgrade from Umbral Master Chopper. The real question is, is it worth the price difference? Tbh idk the price of the Greataxe. Physical damage is very niche for knights, when the current meta revolves around elemental weapons. A few spawns physical damage will actually be better than elementals would be;Falchion is mechanically better imo. It has 18-20 crit range, so works better with outflank. Otherwise, greatsword. Greatsword has better minimum damage and a higher threat range for crits. Great Axe has better burst damage and a higher crit multiplier. Greasword is for wimps, go with greataxe. Assuming the below is correct, the greatsword will on average out-damage the greataxe, and they both greatly out-damage the battleaxe.
