Bad news. I picked up a used crank and took it to a local engine builder along with the main caps and the caps wouldn’t pass inspection. The 3 mains in the middle heated up enough to pull the corners at the seam in .02 so it would be tight enough to not hold a bearing or even scrape the oil off and we’d be right back in the same boat.I replaced the crankshaft seal behind the harmonic balancer, replaced the bolt, torqued it to 74ftlbs and then added 90 degrees.
