Whether or not the car is running, if the keys are in the ignition the car should not lock when pressing in the door pin.

It took a ~10 min ride with full heat and some 30-minute leaving the car off in a parking lot while we were doing groceries to get it to unlock.Hit the door lock button through the open window.
