I have 2000 peterbilt 3406e. I an having trouble with water temperature gauge. I changed gauge and water temperature sensor. I checked it with sensor wire. It is running at 5 volt. But the gauge is not working. I can’t find the real issue. Please help. If it is it may have an air pocket in the motor if they didn't bleed it when filling but not sure it would got to 190 immediately.The OEM may supply a surge tank. The tank can be mounted on the radiator or mounted on a remote location. The coolant that expands past the radiator cap is retained in the surge tank.
