The Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree program brings together experts from planning, sociology, engineering, law, architecture, social work, public health, landscape architecture, urban design, and other …Urban and regional planners employ land-use concepts and strategies to develop and enhance regional, urban, suburban and rural communities. You’ll develop applied research and analysis skills through drafting in studio practice, consult in teams, travel on week-long field trips and can choose to pursue an international exchange program.While there is not a minor in urban planning, students may choose to earn a certificate in one of the following programs: urban planning, urban design, or historic preservation. Students interested in applying to a certificate program must submit a completed application to the DAAP Student Affairs Office, 5470 Aronoff.
