Compared to a Gen 5 G19, the X Compact is .3 inches longer in grip length, and .3 inches less in overall length. Which is actually a bit of a misnomer as well. While the G19 (and X Carry for that matter) feature a 4-inch barrel, the barrel and slide of the Compact are only 3.6 inches. The gun is the same thickness as a standard P320 at 1.3 inches. The outward appearance is that of a somewhat chunky gun, but looks can be deceiving.Trigger: P320 slightly better. Mainly because of less take up and no dingus but compared to the old M&P trigger the 2.0 is like not even the same pistol. The Sig P320 Carry runs the fine line of working for both duty and concealed carry. It’s a great do-all gun. It feels equally at home on a battle belt or in a P320 X Carry holster for concealed carry. The wide width makes it a little wide for concealed carry for some people but it can definitely be done.Honestly the p365xl already shoots flatter than a p320 compact and x carry, it just has more felt recoil (force right into the hand) than the 320. The bigger surface area of the grip on the MACRO helps spread out the force on the hand and the slide comp helps as well.
