Switching from H1000 to 8133 didn't cure your pressure problems, you just simply started too high with H1000. Starting at 89.5 was too high for your particular rifle. My .338 Edge ran at 90 grains H1000 and that was about as hard as I wanted to push it, primer pockets gave up after 3-4 firings.I have a 338 edge 30inch lawton barrel my load work is for 300 smk I hawe tried H 1000 and vv 170 and 570 vv 170 90 gr gave best groups 570 best speed ca 100 fps + I found out best guidlie is to use load data for 338 lapua if I exceed that primers are loos after 2 loadsThe Edge and the Improved 338 Lapua were the velocity leaders. All were accurate as hell. The Lapua improved only beat out my Edge by about 30fps and took alot more powder to do it. Brass didn't last any longer either. I know guys are getting 10 reloads on the Lapua brass,

Jason, If it were me, I would be necking up 300RUM cases and trimming to suit, the reason is this, even though unlikely, necking 375 -338 MAY cause the brass in the neck to thicken.
