I used the moonveil in the early/mid game but it's boring to use as it's so insanely overpowered at a certain point and quick that no enemies are a challenge and you breeze through everything so I stopped using it and did a quest line that got me the dark moon great word and it's a great sword but again it's kind of boring to use.

Moonlight Great sword is an amazing weapon due to the fact that you only have to buff intelligence to really soft cap its dmg while pretty much every other weapon in the game will not be able to soft cap so easily. Even with its split dmg, thanks to its high AR it makes it not too big of a deal, especially as Magic is an amazing offensive element.

So yes Moonveil is very good and enjoyable due to very high versatility for both level clearing and bosses but calling it OP is questionable imo when it is not half as strong as some other builds i have not played with Dark Moon Greatsword But Moonveil is very good for the above reasons. Mainly meant in PvP i guess, Moonveil is still OP there.
