We stayed in the Osage Plains part of Cross Timbers with a full hook up pullthru on asphalt. The park is quiet and dark at night allowing star gazing, although when we were there is was virtually empty with maybe 10 campers. Crosstimbers ORV Park has about 55-miles of marked and rated one-way trails that consist of red clay surface with some sand, making this a good choice for both novices and advanced riders. The green trail and grass track has a nice loop for beginners and are both open to ATVs. We go there several times per year to hike, camp, or sometimes spend Christmas in the cabins. There is something to enjoy there regardless of the season. It is a great place for people of all ages.
