At the start of the year I was told the next allocation my dealership received was mine. Then the temporary production halt was announced. Now I'm hearing rumors that the 718 GT4 production cycle is permanently ending, only previously allocated cars are being built and no more allocations will be offered.The 718 Spyder GT4 RS will also receive the same chassis upgrades as the coupe. These include a lowered ride height courtesy of Bilstein dampers and stiffer springs all around. The car will also feature stiffer anti-roll bars and 20-inch centre-lock wheels. Porsche is expected to take the wraps off the 718 Spyder GT4 RS in a few hours from now.I am currently at the "top of the list" at a large dealership in Dallas for a GT4, the dealer has not gotten an allocation for a GT4 in months but today the sales rep I've been working with called, and offered me a "factory" selected specs (I have attached the built sheet), says once in a while...I've been posting over on the GTS board about a possibly ordering a new GTS (dealer has Oct. allocation available, though I wouldd likely go PTS which would put me into 2016 delivery) or get on his wait-list (5 people in front of me) for a GT4. I don't know if that will happen or if it does, whether that will shrink the price difference. Still, it is something to consider. 991.2 gts plus a few upgrades equals bliss. I know guys who have them. The only justifiable trade in for a GT3 is a GT2RS as a track weapon. Couldn’t agree more. We get some benefits but this current ADM and allocation game is horrible. I remember a video with AP where he was bloviating about “making one for every customer who wants one”, in reference to the 991.2 GT3, then the same BS about the 992 version, and in a video about the GT4RS, the same BS.

After months of searching, I have had zero luck trying to find a GT4 RS (except for a couple of cars in Europe, where they were asking around $300K for a used car).
