If you can only get spoon mage or bers you should get like cata 30 before trying s+. I'd reccomend using a hyperion / an expensive archer setup. Don't do f7 if u can't even get an Archer setup. You can't do f7 without hype mage or expensive archer setup, do f6 until you can afford those. Full storm is ass, since f7 is more about survivability. 3/4 storm with either necromancer or t12 chest should do the job,also this should be obvious but use a blue whale, also don't forget to lifesteal every single time since you can't tell when you will be 1 tapped ever.
