The Black Demon in Legend's Quest is actually Nezikchened so it would make sense that he doesn't count towards the task. However, there is a Black Demon in The Grand Tree which can be fought in NMZ that does count for a Slayer task. While we're on the topic, the troll bosses, Arrg, Dad, and Ice Troll King do count as Slayer Tasks too and if you ...Jagex sets really high expectations for themselves every year and communicate literally every idea they have along the way, so of course we're going to be disappointed.
