I just ordered 37x12.50x20s and 20x9 fuel beasts wheels , I don’t mind minor trimming , or should I order 1.5 or 2in leveling kit just to be safe. 2006 f-250 6.8 v-10 w/ 3.73's and 35's vs stock 31's felt some loss in power, but still towed and drove fine. 4.30's would have been nice but not worth the change. just put 33.5 m/t on my wife's 2017 f150, 5.0 with 3.31's. definitely feel a power loss, and would have been ideal to have found a truck with 3.73's.I had a 3" rough country lift with 37's on 20" factory wheels. The tires did not hit the wheel wells but they did rub the frame pretty bad at full turn. The tires were 37x12.50 nitto trail grappler. I am wanting to go with about a 36 or 37 inch tire on my stock 17" rim. My current setup is a 4x4 Superduty with the stock 17" aluminum (Alcoa style) wheels. I also have a 2" leveling kit on the truck. The 32" tires I have now have alot of room left in the fenders, and plenty of clearance around the springs. Assuming similar air pressures and tire construction either 37” tire SHOULD be a little softer riding.I have 37's but haven't paid attention to the gas mileage. A lot of people that have full 35's or 37's don't get the hypertech correction, and thereby don't actually know what their MPG is since the numbers are off due to the tire size.
