The AAC groups were 10 shots each. Each shot was made with 1 second and one breath between shots. This was done 5rds at a time, with a reload inbetween. The first group is the control with 62gr xtac green tip M855. The second group is AAC 75gr Sabre Black Tip, the 3rd group is AAC 77gr OTM. I brought some of my own reloads using 55gr FMJ Hornaday bulk bullets and BLC2, bulk 55gr Winchester Lake City stuff (M193), 62gr Winchester LC Green Tip (M855), some IMI 77gr OTM and some 77gr AAC SMK loads. I had never shot the IMI or AAC rounds before. I had mounted a new LPVO optic 1-6x and wanted to zero it for 100 yds.

Eh, an extra 20cpr for a good bullet is a small price to pay. An extra 30cpr gets you S&B 77gr which shoots phenomenally. Decent 77gr OTM out of a good barrel shouldn't be grouping any more than .75-1MOA if you're doing your part, and hopefully closer to .7. S&B 77 gets me .7MOA at 300-409 yards out of a 16" noveske recon.

So if you do a lot of target shooting and are trying to squeeze out the tightest groupings then 77gr is more the way to go. Plus more energy yadda yadda. At least IMI and AAC SMK specific loads are actually 5.56 loads and not mild .223 loads.
