Hi Dan. First, it is indeed a .32 Safety Hammerless Second Model. The spotting feature is the T-type barrel latch. The First Model did not have this feature. Second, while all First Model units did have only 5 digit serial numbers, some Second Models did as well. The change from First Model to Second Model occurred at serial number 91417.
