I purchased a beautiful well marbled ribeye from Costco which jaccard’s their steaks. At $24/lb for prime I was looking forward to this steak. I have cooked dozens of steaks before with success but this time it was a bunk. I salted it, put it out at room temp, and waited an hour for the water drawn out by the salt to be re absorbed.
