I do agree that most people don't need "better" internet. That said, AT&T Fiber does have certain advantages like lower ping times and faster upload speeds. Xfinity will be closing the gap in the coming years with high-split DOCSIS 3.1 which will offer upload speeds of 100-200Mbps and DOCSIS 4 which will offer full-symmetrical multi-gig service.
