upgrade a greatsword to +8 (I used flamberge), get bloody slash and spam it until the start of the second phase. he will get stunned and you can hit him with 3-4 bloody slashes and by that point hes already nearly dead. then just hop on your horse if you need and ride around and continuously spawn npcs and let them fight while you chill and keep respawning. with this strategy I beat him at lvl ... pre radahn build PvE looking for any changes I can make to this build for pre radahn. Radahn can kind of be done whenever but it depends on how you wanna fight him. You can very easily just keep summoning the NPCs and never even get near him for the whole fight. If you wanna actually fight him, either 1 on 1 or helping the NPCs, than I agree with other comments around 60-80 is probably good.This should start Radahn's health going down, and it'll keep going down until he enters his second phase. Just keep summons up to draw aggro and then reapply the spell in phase 2 and the boss is as good as dead. The General Radahn boss fight requires patience and attention. He may be a giant, but his fast-sweeping attacks can easily catch you off-guard. Ideally, you want the NPCs to hold Radahn's aggression as you safely deal damage. If you are a melee build, target General Radahn's horse since it is easier to hit.

On my somewhat pure quality build this is super solid. Its the lightest, does the most damage (even compared to golem) the ash of war is a better version of arrow rain so toss on golem arrows, and its got that 20% bonus with radahn arrows, it stacks.
