From what I can find on the web (very little) this might have been installed by the dealer (or for the dealer). The system is a Karr 4040A with a Karr KS-9495-4p (Shock Sensor). ive got the Karr system too (model2040) if you pressed it three times you may have had it set on passive activation...it will set 30 seconds after all doors are closed, arming the car and locking the doors. you can try changing back to active activation by: 1.turning the ignition on 2.push in and release the programming button 3 timesThey did confirm it was a dealer installed KARR security system and that they install those on all their vehicles on the lot. Anyway I thought I should understand what it is about. I did not receive any sort of manual, or even warranty information.
