Aside from looking at it after the recommended time frame, blue dye tests aren’t recommended because it can be difficult to distinguish a faint blue line from a faint gray evaporation line which is just where the pink/ blue line would show up if positive. Definitely retest and in the future go with a pink dye test when you can.
