3. Oct 2, 2022 / Husqvarna Z246 spring, deck belt came off. #1. Husqvarna zero turn Z246 - "spring, deck belt" came off. I scalped a ridge on my lawn and the mover blades stopped turning. I found a large spring on the ground, I am fairly certain it is the part called "spring, deck belt". Also the belt is now very loose.Hey guys, My mower belt come off the other day. It was all I could do to get the belt back on the drive pulley even with a helper pulling back on the tension pulley. Just in case it happens again I would like to know what tools would make it easy to remove and replace the tension spring without getting a finger pinched.
